Hi, I am just wanting to get other people's advice and experiences with feeding bubs as they get older. My DD (almost 7 months) has been on solids for about a month now- some rice cereal for breakfast, avocado and fruit (apple or pear) for lunch and vegies for dinner, along with a breastfeed before each meal, and one to bed as well.
What I would like to know is how do I go about introducing finger foods without worrying about choking, and eventually weaning her onto cups of regular milk and normal meals, and at what age should these things happen. I am hoping to stop bf by 12 months (or earlier if I can) but do not want to swap to formula- I would like her to be weaned off milk as a food altogether from the breast- so when is it recommended to swap to cows milk as a drink (not a meal).
Obviously this is something that will take the next 6 months- but just wanting to get an idea of what others have done. Ta
